The vessel was en route from China to Dubai and carried over 1,500 twenty foot equivalent units (TEUs) of cargo, including electronics and machinery.

Location and Causes of the Accident According to reports, the ship veered off course around 4:30 am on Monday and struck the riverbank while navigating through the busy waters of the Krishnapatnam port.
